Hot Showers on the Road: How the Joolca Hot Tap Keeps My Van Life Dream Steamy (Literally)

Ah, the allure of van life! Freedom, adventure, and the open road beckon. But let's be honest, there can be some sacrifices. One major concern for many aspiring vanlifers is access to hot water. Well, fear not, fellow nomads! Thanks to the ingenious Joolca Hot Tap, I can enjoy hot showers anywhere my wheels take me.

Why the Joolca Hot Tap is My Vanlife BFF:

Instant Unlimited Hot Water On Demand: No more waiting for kettles to boil or shivering under lukewarm campground showers. The Joolca Hot Tap heats water as it flows, providing a satisfyingly hot shower whenever and wherever you need it.

Compact & Portable: This little powerhouse packs a punch! The Hot Tap is lightweight and comes in a compact tote, making it perfect for fitting into even the most meticulously organized van.

Easy Setup & Use: No plumbing expertise required! The Joolca Hot Tap connects easily to a standard propane tank and your water source. You can get instant filtered hot water by putting the end of the hose in any body of water, fresh or salt! You can even hook it up to any campground water hookup as well. Or just install the Joolca directly into your camper van or RV! I like to keep mine separate because I want to take long showers without having to fill & dump my grey water tank!

Note: I use all-natural products to shower so nothing I leave behind is harmful to the environment or any wildlife that may be in the area.

Multifunctional Marvel: This isn't just a shower savior! The Hot Tap tote also doubles as a sink faucet, making it ideal for washing dishes, doing laundry, or filling your morning cup of joe with truly hot water.

Clean & Filtered: Worried about questionable campground water or the water in the rivers, lakes, streams or ocean you're tapping your water from? The Joolca Hot Tap includes a built-in filter at the end of the hose, ensuring you have clean, refreshing water for consumption, showering, and other uses.

Easy on the Budget: The Joolca Hot Tap is only $549 as of writing this post. Whoa...that's all? Before I discovered the Joolca, I thought something like that had to be in the thousands! I was so relieved. It was my first big purchase, the number one thing I wanted to have on the road and boy it was the BEST decision ever. I love having instant filtered hot water anywhere I go!

My Joolca Hot Tap Vanlife Routine:

Mornings on the Move: Start your day with a refreshing hot shower to wake you up and prepare you for a day of exploring. The Hot Tap makes it easy to maintain basic hygiene routines, even when far from civilization.

Dish Duty Made Easy: No more battling cold water and greasy dishes! The Hot Tap's sink faucet provides a steady stream of hot water for washing up after meals.

Stargazing Soaks: Imagine relaxing under a blanket of stars with a soothing hot shower after a long day of adventuring. The Hot Tap makes this dream a reality, turning your van into a luxurious (yet minimalist) spa retreat.

Beyond the Basics:

While the Joolca Hot Tap is a lifesaver for basic needs, it's also opened up some unexpected possibilities in my vanlife journey. Here are a few ways I've gotten creative:

Coffee Connoisseur on the Go: Forget instant coffee! With the Hot Tap, I can brew a proper cup of joe using a French press or pour-over method, the way it's meant to be enjoyed.

Quick Shaving: Hot water helps soften your beard for a closer shave, a welcome luxury for men on the road.

Foot Washing for Filthy Adventures: After a day of hiking dusty trails, there's nothing better than soaking your feet in hot water. The Hot Tap helps wash away the grime and soothe tired muscles. Not to mention, I love wearing my flip-flops and it's nice to be able to have instant warm water to rinse my feet off before bed. It makes van life on chilly nights a little more bearable!
